Puget Sound Technology's next workshop covers beginning Linux and BSD computer and network security. The class will be Monday, April 22, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Everett.  The training will share several techniques and concepts for improving and maintaining Linux and BSD system security, including security updates, file integrity checking, remote and local scanning for vulnerabilities, how to clean up unneeded services and securing required services, and more.  Puget Sound Technology provides Linux, BSD, and open source technical support, consulting and training services. Cost for the workshop is $25 or $35 at the door.
